Tyler Sauter, Urban Designer

Tyler is an architectural and urban designer engaged in a multi-scale approach to develop socially conscious design solutions for complex issues, progressing towards better, more delightful environments and experiences in our communities. For over six years, Tyler has been an active mentor in NOMA’s Project Pipeline summer architecture camps, empowering young people to affect change in their community through design.

In his short but dynamic career, Tyler has completed nearly 25 projects spanning a diverse range of project types, including small-scale architecture, interiors, streetscapes, feasibility studies, DRIs and BOAs, urban realm studies, and visualizations. Noteworthy collaborations include projects with prominent clients such as Amtrak, Empire State Development, NYC Health and Hospitals, New York Power Authority, Uber, City of Dallas, NYC Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environment, and Michigan Central.
